This calculator determines the fluid volume required for infusion of a manually controlled IV. It calculates the amount of fluid being delivered over a time period.

Rate - The drip rate, flow rate or watch count of the IV.

Time - The duration the IV is being infused. The time duration the fluid, liquid or solution is being administered.

Calibration - The drop factor or the number of drops needed to deliver 1 milliliter of fluid.

Note: IV stands for intravenous. IV tubing comes in 10, 15 and 20 gtt/mL for macrodrop and 60 gtt/mL for microdrop factors.
